Turning Point is always looking for volunteers to support our mission. As a volunteer, you have the opportunity to work directly with clients and/or indirectly for the agency. Volunteers are essential to Turning Point and we are grateful for your time and expertise. Opportunities are available for both individuals and groups.

Direct Service

Volunteers who wish to work with our clients must complete a 40-hour domestic violence training course, a background check, and sign confidentiality agreements.

Opportunities include:

  • Crisis Program (in-house and on-call)
  • Group Facilitating
  • Shelter Volunteer
  • Child Care

Indirect Service

Volunteers assist Turning Point with agency needs.

Opportunities include:

  • Child Care
  • Various Office Tasks
  • Building and Grounds Maintenance
  • Event and Fundraising support
  • Donation Collection
